RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Funked Up Jeans, we want you to love your unique finds. However, as a small family business operating from two locations (New Mexico & Florida), we have specific guidelines to keep our shop running smoothly.
1. Return Window We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
2. Eligibility & Condition
• Vintage/Deadstock: Must be returned in the exact "New Old Stock" condition received.
• Handmade/Supplies: Must be unused and in original packaging.
• Custom/Personalized: Custom embroidered items are Final Sale and cannot be returned unless defective.
3. Shipping Costs (Important)
• Defective Items: If we made a mistake (wrong item, factory defect), we will cover the return shipping.
• Change of Mind: For standard returns (e.g., fit, style preference), the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
• Free Shipping Orders: If you return an item that originally shipped for free, the actual cost of the original shipping label (typically 4.00–6.00) will be deducted from your final refund amount.
4. How to Start a Return Do not ship items back without contacting us first. We operate out of two studios (NM & FL). We need to ensure you send the item to the correct address.
To start a return, contact us at returns@funkedupjeans.com. If your return is accepted, we will provide the correct return address. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
5. Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. We do not offer direct exchanges; please treat them as two separate transactions.
6. Damages and Issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
7. Exceptions / Non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:
• Custom products (such as special orders or personalized embroidery).
• Sale items or gift cards.
8. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days (minus original shipping costs where applicable). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
